My client, a privately owned construction consultancy in London, is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their dedicated team of five.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor with a background in commercial, industrial, or logistics projects to make a meaningful contribution within a smaller, close-knit team environment.
The Role
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing a range of projects across commercial, industrial, logistics, and retail sectors. You'll oversee the full spectrum of surveying services, including technical due diligence (TDD), contract administration, development monitoring, and dilapidations, all while ensuring top-quality service delivery to an established client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting TDD, contract administration, development monitoring, and dilapidation surveys.
- Effectively managing client relationships and identifying opportunities for new business.
- Assisting in the professional growth and supervision of junior surveyors.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal Chartered Building Surveyor will have:
- MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential).
- A degree accredited by RICS in a relevant field.
- Strong experience in a construction-focused practice.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial projects and familiarity with the Building Safety Act.
- Excellent client relationship skills, with a knack for expanding the firm's client network.
