UX Product Designer- Moodle/Virtual learning /learning management system

UX Product Designer ideally with experience with in Moodle or similar learning management or VLE is system is urgently needed to work with your Higher education client to refine their existing Moodle platform .

The UX Product Designer will be task with working with the clients existing Moodle platform to refine the product and improve the user journey/experience. The UX Product Designer will work stakeholders to create seamless and engaging user experiences for their learners.

Your focus will be on designing intuitive user interfaces and interactions, maintaining and evolving our design system, and supporting user research activities.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in UX and UI design for web and mobile platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking.
  • Familiarity with design accessibility principles and regulations.
  • Ability to translate research insights into impactful design solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in design tools including Figma, Miro, and Maze.
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Technical skills in Microsoft Suite, Figma, Miro, Maze, UserBrain, EnjoyHQ,

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in Moodle or similar learning management or VLE is system
  • Experience in the education or EdTech sector.
  • Familiarity with Moodle and bootstrap-based themes.
  • Knowledge or interest in learning analytics and data-informed design.

6 month contract to start in the next couple of weeks.

Remote with ad hoc days on site in London-Outside of IR35 and some flexibility for candidates with Moodle experience.
