Senior Frontend Engineer

Take-Two Recruitment is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join one of our clients dynamic team in London. In this role, you'll build new features and enhance existing workflows that transform how companies around the world conduct business.

You will develop software that enables our customers to create contracts from a library of templates and efficiently review and edit contracts received from counterparties. Additionally, you’ll contribute to our Word add-in, allowing users to access our copilot directly alongside their contracts.

You'll also assist in building an intelligent contract repository, helping companies save thousands of hours searching for information trapped within their contracts. We’ve made significant progress toward this product vision, and you will play a crucial role in bringing it to fruition. #LI-JK1

Tech Stack: All our clients frontend applications are built in an NX monorepo using the latest version of React with TypeScript, functional components, and hooks. We utilize Tailwind in our projects and are in the process of developing a shared design system and component libraries to facilitate code sharing across products.

We use Apollo GraphQL for API communication, leveraging automatically generated hooks to make these API requests. To ensure best practices and shared code across our product squads, we meet biweekly as a frontend chapter to discuss improvements and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to frontend development as part of one of our product squads, making key design and implementation decisions and writing high-quality, well-tested code.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other teams to create innovative new features.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers on the frontend team, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Share your knowledge with the frontend chapter to help define technical standards and approaches for frontend development.
  • Participate in the entire development process, including design, development, and deployment.

Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience building React applications with TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Excellent knowledge of web fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and Browser APIs.
  • Experience with good engineering practices, including writing tests, participating in code reviews, and using CI/CD.
  • Background in a start-up or similarly sized organization, with a passion for building high-quality products.
  • Ability to embrace challenges and find innovative solutions to create effective customer interfaces.
