About the role

The position sits within our BX Online vertical and specifically our Customer & Loyalty Team. The teams focus areas are the new identity (authentication layer) that powers our website and loyalty (loyalty program, points, vouchers). We are in a multiyear journey of technical transformation which means that occasionally we are engaged on several lift and shift activities, re-writing or replacing legacy logic.

Key requirements:

  • Fluent in Javascript/TypeScript
  • Experience with React and specifically NextJs
  • Experience with NodeJS
  • Experience with Docker and docker-compose.
  • Exposure to AWS specifically S3, ElasticCache
  • Exposure to modern CI/CD platforms like Gitlab (or similar GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
    • Understands the importance of monitoring and proactive in resolving critical issues.
  • Exposure to CDNs and specifically Akamai
  • Fluent in testing frameworks Playwright
  • Desirable:
    • Exposure with monitoring and alerting platforms. Datadog, PagerDuty
    • Exposure in deployment platforms like Kubernetes and tools like Helm.
