Do you do Front end Javascript & UI coding, using Vue.js & the Vue ecosystem? Interested in joining a brand new, 3rd development squad in the UK as part of further scaling for a SaaS product company?
Would you like to work on developing software that is attempting to re-address the balance of global ethics, environmental impact & human rights, using technology to drive change?
With an emphasis on product driven, new feature & platform code development, you will want to use your Front End / UI coding skills to help shape, define & code new products on top of an already existing SaaS platform base.
With a Product & Development team of ~45 globally, with 20 Dev' heads in the UK, we are now looking for another, experienced Front End focused Javascript developer who has experience in the Vue.js framework.
Title: Senior Software Developer (Javascript / Vue / Front end UI)
Location: London office, but largely irrelevant. You can be based anywhere in the UK, as we operate a remote first culture. Or be based near London & use the office - this is also fine! We measure success by productivity & output, not "time at keyboard / office".
Salary: ~£75K (£70K to £80K depending on experience) + Benefits package (Private health, 5% matched pension, 25 days holiday, etc)
In the main, we are looking to build skills around the following:
- Experience of working in an Agile product delivery framework
- Strong knowledge and experience with of the latest features of JavaScript: ES6+
- Experience of JS framework: Vue. We are nearing the end of our migration to V3, so really, experience with V3 is required. However - if you only have V2 & can dazzle us with your Javascript skills, then that's fine too!
- HTML5, CSS3
- CSS pre-processors - SASS/LESS
- Experience with working with APIs
- Experience of performing code reviews and helping to maintain best practices with more junior members of the team.
- Experience of writing unit tests with test frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.) Although, we do have a fully dedicated QA team also.
- Experience with version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
