We are working with an AI-powered fintech pioneer that is transforming the way small businesses manage everything from business accounts to tax solutions. As the company continues to grow rapidly, they are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their acquisition team, focusing on enhancing and optimizing their platform.

They offer invoicing software, receipt scanning apps, and tax services, ensuring hassle-free financial operations. Their culture emphasizes independence and technical leadership, offering a flat structure where engineers can truly influence decisions.

THE ROLE

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will: * Lead frontend development projects using React and TypeScript. * Act as a technical leader, making key engineering decisions and mentoring junior developers. * Collaborate closely with the acquisition team to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions. * Influence company decisions with your technical expertise. * Work independently to understand and implement complex documentation.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Strong experience with React and TypeScript. * Proven track record of leading projects and working independently. * Bonus: Experience with Python, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, Docker, and SEO.

SALARYUp to £80,000 + benefits (including £1k training allowance, £1k travel allowance, private medical insurance, and more).

INTERVIEW PROCESS: * First Stage - 90-minute session with an introduction and technical assessment. * Second Stage - 60-minute session with technical and behavioural questions.
