Windows Server Platform Engineer - PowerShell - Virtualisation - Ansible

Permanent - Hybrid working, 3 days office (London)

Leading financial services client is looking for a Windows Server Platform Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be managing, maintaining, enhancing Microsoft Windows Server related technologies across the estate. This is a project delivery role and would suit someone with a DevOps mindset who is passionate about automation. You will be responsible for the implementation of automated solutions.

Skills and Experience required:

Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 / 2019 related technologies
PowerShell
CI/CD pipelines and other automation concepts
AWX / Ansible Tower
Git or other source code control software
Security hardening principles in line with CIS industry benchmarks.
Excellent knowledge of networking, storage, database and virtualization layers.
Clustering and high-availability technologies
Replication and disaster recovery.
TCP/IP Networking Protocols.
Nutanix HCI, ESX VMWare, EMC - desirable
Working knowledge of cloud computing - IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings across Azure, AWS, GCP and Oracle.
