Our client are involved in various methods of conversion, including - Welfare Vehicles, Crew Carriers, Racking Installations, Bunk Vans, Stock Vans, Lighter Conversions and much more.

Due to rapid growth and a huge increase in work load, our client are looking to add experienced enthusiastic vehicle fitters to their workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidates will be trained on different stages of the build process and will be responsible for, but not limited to;

Internal Fitting - Racking Systems, Flooring, Load Locks, Silicone Fastening, Kitchens, Toilets, Sanitizing Stations, Seating, some wiring and more.
External Fitting - Control Panel Installation, Stairs, Bay lifts.
Daily use of Hand & Power tools - Drills, Tape Measure, Screwdrivers, Spanners, Wrenches and more.
Quality Control - In most cases you will be responsible for ensuring products are assembled to tight specifications before being delivered to end customer, so a keen eye for detail is essential.
Working to specific measurements and timelines

Additional Responsibilities:

Advise of any amends to drawings/panels
Notify supervisor of potential improvements to build method
Carry out duties in line with Health and Safety requirements and make supervisor aware of potential Health & Safety issues
Log on and off correct SFDC operation in line with company policy
Adhere to relevant ISO / QMS process

Desired Skills:

Experience working to tight measurements and deadlines
Experience working with BOTH Hand and Power tools
Excellent eye for detail
Good understanding of the conversion process, or knowledge of vehicles
