Job Opportunity: Head of ICT (Temporary Contract)

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Head of ICT to spearhead their ICT and Data Operations. Position Overview:

  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Contract Length: 3 months (possible extension)
  • Daily Rate: 499.27 per day Umbrella (inside IR35)
  • Location: Ealing W5 2HL
  • Full Time
  • 3 days per week office requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Head of ICT, you will be the lead senior officer responsible for:

  • Overseeing all ICT sourcing and procurement activities.
  • Leading the ICT service delivery functions, including Service Desk, application delivery, and infrastructure management.
  • Managing a portfolio of ICT programmes and projects while collaborating with council partners to implement integrated solutions.
  • Coordinating ICT activities across the council, prioritising projects effectively for maximum ROI.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure ICT services align with business needs.
  • Contribute to the development of a robust ICT strategy that supports the council's objectives.
  • Champion continuous service improvement within the ICT team to adapt to the changing environment.
  • Negotiate with service providers to ensure value for money and high performance in service delivery.
