Maintenance Assistant (Permanent) London
Location: London (Covering South West London, West London and North London)
Salary: 33,000 to 34,000+ benefits (with overtime paid at time and a half)

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake general property maintenance and repairs including carpentry, tiling and general repairs to doors, windows and locking systems.
- Installation and repairs gutters and drainpipe systems.
- General repairs of basic plumbing.
- Source materials from local suppliers and manufacturers.
- Oversee contractors.
- Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Liaise regularly with colleagues, supervisors and managers to ensure an efficient and effective service is always delivered to the client.
- Seasonal shift and on call rota.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly to health and safety.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Significant experience in property maintenance.
- Knowledge of a building trade i.e. carpentry, door and window locks, decorating, plastering and tiling.
- Skilled in the use of basic hand tools for maintenance and repair.
- Hold a recognised City & Guilds (C&G) or NVQ qualification.
- Basic knowledge of current Building Regulations and standards and a thorough understanding of Health and Safety standards.
- Sound numerical ability for measuring and making calculations.
- A professional approach with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
