About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a strong multi-trade background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for a contractor delivering social housing maintenance contracts. This role will be based out of our Romford office, with projects spanning London and the Home Counties.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of operatives, ensuring that maintenance and repair works are completed to a high standard, within budget, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of multi-trade operatives delivering responsive and planned maintenance works.
  • Ensure all works are completed efficiently, meeting quality and compliance standards.
  • Liaise with clients, tenants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections, manage health & safety procedures, and report on progress.
  • Order materials, manage workloads, and oversee job scheduling.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a multi-trade role, with strong skills in carpentry, plumbing, plastering, or similar.
  • Previous experience working for a contractor on social housing maintenance contracts.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to liaise professionally with clients, residents, and colleagues.
  • Full UK driving license (preferred).
