The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles. This position involves working on both petrol and diesel HGVs, performing servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance to high standards.Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular servicing and preventive maintenance of petrol and diesel HGV fleet vehicles.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.Perform inspections and ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.Collaborate with the team to ensure timely vehicle availability and operational efficiency.Skills & Qualifications:NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HGV maintenance and repair.Full, valid driver's license (mandatory).HGV license (advantageous but not essential).Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance regulations.IF you are interested please contact Natalie from Shorterm on
