  • We are seeking Vehicle / Motor technicians to independently service cars, performing routine maintenance and repairs.

We are currently recruiting for Vehicle / Motor technicians to work independently servicing cars.

Day to day, you will:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and servicing checks and repairs in line with the requirements of the manufacturer.
  • Run fault diagnostics on engine, transmission, brakes, air conditioning, security features, fuel systems etc.
  • Carry out repair / service operations to engine units, drive trains, suspension components, brakes, air conditioning systems, electrical, emissions systems and all interior trim components etc.
  • Carry out electronic vehicle health checks.
  • Communicate directly with customers to identify / understand concerns with vehicle running performance and to advise about technical issues.
  • Road test vehicles on completion of repair / service work, also accompanying customers for demonstration of vehicle concerns or faults.
  • Receive ongoing manufacturer training, both in-house and external training centres.
  • Comply with company and manufacturer disciplines and procedures.
  • Support others around the business by performing to the best of your ability.

  • Is literate and numerate, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues alike.
