HGV Technician - Mechanic

Permanent earlies - Flexible - 06.00-15.00, 07.00-16.00 or 08.00-17.00

£20 - £23 per hour - £40k - £47.5k plus night shift bonus - OTE over £55k

Must be an experienced HGV Technician - Class 2 licence desirable

This company will aid you on your career journey. You can expect to be trained on new products and put through the required courses such as Irtec.

You will be working on a diverse product range, however if you have experience on working on Plant Road sweepers /Road Sweeping equipment such as Hako, Scarab, Stock, Johnstone, Faun etc then your background will be particular of interest.

The type of work you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to)

  • Routine (and preventative) maintenance
  • MOT preparation
  • Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
  • 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
  • Correction of running defects
  • Chassis and fabrication work
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Improvement of vehicle standards
  • Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
