Maverick Projects is a small but growing grass routes business based across 5 project
spaces in South East London. We offer unique locations for weddings, parties,
exhibitions and film shoots. We have opened our first licensed bar and are looking for a
Bar and Venue Supervisor to take the lead on this exciting project.
As Bar and Venue Supervisor you are integral to making our vision a reality. Being one of
the leaders in our business you will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver
exceptional experiences to every guest that walks through the door. As well as taking
ultimate responsibility for the bar you are also accountable for the brand, the venue and
the licence. You must be able to run and take ownership of all venue needs and
requirements. You will be passionate about creating and developing a unique and
thriving venue.
Requirements;
- We are looking for a self motivated individual with a minimum of 2 years bar experience and management experience.
- You will be driven to develop AMP Studios into a thriving and friendly destination venue putting your own stamp on it whilst aligning with the Directors vision.

We envisage a half/full day onsite undertaking administrative bar duties, and other
hours spent onsite at events - this may change depending on the season. Weekend work
will be expected and we expect the Bar and Venue Supervisor to work the majority of the
weddings.

- To make sure that the bar is always up to date and relevant to the current menu and promotions through stock, POS and staff training.

- To make sure structured relevant briefs are given to all members of staff before there shift starts and to keep staff informed of any relevant information regarding the shift i.e. VIPS and events..

- To take responsibility for all shift related guest and staff issues as and when they arise.
- Report any complaints, accidents, incidents or other irregularities correctly
- To always keep the highest standard of cleanliness
- To always ensure the safety of staff and guests.
- To serve behind the bar at the highest level.
- To ensure that opening and closing checklists are completed and signed off before any shift starts / finishes.
OPERATIONS & FINANCE- Focused, Ambitious, Reliable, Organized and Productive.
Whilst the basic procedures are already in place you will be expected to develop
and propose appropriate changes to keep ahead of the venues needs.

Be responsible for the venues controllable bar expenditures including:
- Consumables and Disposables
- Bar sundries
- Wet Stock
- Create and manage the monthly staff rotas making sure that they are fit forpurpose as per the expected levels of trade, staff skill levels.
- Ensure that the End of Day Report (EOD) is completed and that all complaints,incidents, successes and recommendations are clearly communicated accordingly
- Be expected to perform administrative duties including but not limited to the analysis of drinks sales mix and promotions, weekly financial performance and the planned development of staff.
- To ensure the security of our venue and assets.
