Job Title: Logistics Customer Service Specialist
Location: Acton, West London
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Start Date: April or May (TBD)
I am looking for a Logistics Customer Service Specialist for a West London-based client who specialises in Japanese food distribution. My client is looking for a customer-centric, organised candidate with good phone etiquette to handle import/export paperwork and liaise with customers on a daily basis. This is a full time, office-based position.
Main Duties:
- Handling Japanese import/export documentation
- Greeting customers in a warm and welcoming manner
- Assisting customers via phone or email with their queries
- Handling customer returns and complaints
- Managing internal correspondence and liaising with the warehouse
- Supply chain administration
- Delivery tracking
Key Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge/experience in the logistics (import/export) industry
- Fluency in Japanese would be beneficial but is not essential
- Bubbly, friendly personality with an excellent telephone manner
- Experience in the food or FMCG distribution industries would also be beneficial
