Our fine art shipping and removals client is currently looking to appoint an experienced Senior Fine Art Shipping Coordinator, to join their team in London.

As Senior Fine Art Shipping Coordinator, a typical day will involve liaising with clients, as well as working with colleagues in the transport, packing and storage departments.  You will be responsible for shipping movements start to finish.

Senior Fine Art Shipping Coordinator duties include:

  • Handling quotations in a timely manner.
  • Managing all practical arrangements for export and import shipments.
  • Completing Export and Import documentation for Airfreight, Sea Freight and exhibition shipments.
  • Ensuring all clients are kept informed as to all stages of their shipments and receive all relevant copy documentation.
  • Liaising with clients, working with transport, packing and storage departments.
  • Where necessary and when requested by client, to oversee other aspects of shipping processes including; local / storage / import work.
  • To arrange collections and deliveries with the client in consultation with the transport manager and make practical arrangements directly with our clients to ensure smooth collections and deliveries as required.
  • To arrange packing as required in a suitable manner, supplying packing room department with full packing sheets and relevant information.
  • To keep up to date on all HMRC and other legislation and company procedures, to complete all necessary documentation and keep all records accurately.
  • Ensuring all shipments are invoiced in timely manner.
  • To attend operations meetings.
  • To maintain the company's shared documents covering all imports.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years' Fine Art experience
  • 2+ Years' Airfreight experience
  • Road freight experience would also be a distinct advantage

We're keen to speak to seasoned Fine Art professionals who have 5+ years experience working with Fine Art, and 2+ years' experience dealing with airfreight.  Road freight experience would also be a distinct advantage.

The successful Senior Fine Art Shipping Coordinator will be offered up to £44,000, in line with skills and experience.
