Key Responsibilities:
- Leading Traffic Management Order (TMO) projects, managing invoicing, and programming tasks
- Drafting notices of proposal and creating permanent and temporary traffic orders
- Composing notices of making for experimental traffic orders
- Developing and implementing both map-based and schedule-based traffic orders
- Addressing public and member inquiries, offering technical advice, and liaising with stakeholders
- Providing training and guidance to junior staff members
- Evaluating TMO designs to ensure compliance with Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions (TSRGD) guidelines
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in traffic and highway projects
- Strong technical knowledge related to drafting and implementing traffic orders
- Understanding of both map-based and schedule-based traffic orders
- Familiarity with Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions (TSRGD) guidelines
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with public and stakeholders effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities
- Proven leadership skills and experience in mentoring junior staff
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects efficiently
