The Company: A global shipping company providing logistic services to a variety of industries
Main Duties: To support with data analysis and report on cargo availability.
The Role:- To support with data analysis projects and produce reporting tools- To monitor cargo booking trends; to report on availability and forecast future availability- To allocate vessel space and identify any concerns with availability vs demand- To maintain strong client relations and ensure scheduled shipping services are adhered to- To liaise with commercial departments and communicate cargo availability- To identify optimal cargo movement to reduce congestion at ports whilst respecting fixed services
The Candidate:- Experience or Degree-Level Qualification in Maritime Shipping - Essential- Strong MS Excel skills - Essential- Experience in data analysis with knowledge of Power Query or Power Bi - Beneficial- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail- Proactive, confident and dynamic personality- Excellent communication skills and a team player
The salary: up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience
