This role supports daily operations and processes to drive successful project delivery for the store planning, design, refurbs, new store and refreshes in stores nationwide.
The roles and responsibilities in this Assistant Project Design Manager - Health & Beauty
- Assist the Beauty Commercial Project Manager in technical design drawing reviews, providing clear and confident feedback to all relevant stakeholders.
- Be a point of contact for the project for designers, store format, store planning and operations team.
- Providing opportunities to build relationships with stakeholders and beauty brands, including designers, and contract.
- Project management, coordination and implementation
- Plan, track, and document projects effectively, and report project status updates confidently to senior team members.
- Oversee daily operations, managing workloads in alignment with Commercial function.
- Be onsite on projects for key store openings, refresh or renewals
- Uphold and develop brand to achieve a world-class standard in all deliverables.
To be successful in this Assistant Project Design Manager - Health & Beauty
- Ideally having 2 + years' experience in space planning/ store design/ store project management in retail stores.
- Experience in interpreting space plans and technical/manufacture details
- Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
- Experience with dealing with multiple brands in a store environment
- Experience or passion within the health & beauty sector!
- Excellent MS Suite Skills
- Experience using AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit and Microsoft Project (desirable but not essential)
- Flexible and adaptable to cope with fast-track projects and changing business requirements
