Sonic Summary

The Creative Therapy Assistant role is designed for Creative Arts, Drama, and Musical Graduates looking to gain hands-on experience with children.
The position involves supporting EYFS, KS1, and KS2 students, including those with mild SEN, using creativity to engage them with the primary curriculum.
The salary for this role ranges from £105 to £110 per day and is term-time only.
Candidates should have some previous experience working with children and a genuine passion for incorporating creativity into education.
The role is based in an Ofsted Outstanding school in Westminster and offers an ASAP start.

Creative Therapy Assistant

Recent research has supported the use of creative therapy for social and emotional development. Creative therapies also helps build resilience and reduces anxiety. Creative Therapy allow children to communicate emotions and more complex stories than they could using words alone.

May involve supporting students with mild SEN (ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, Speech & Language issues)
Using creativity and imagination to engage students with the primary curriculum - Perfect for grads from a creative background!

Some previous experience working with children
Creative Arts, Drama & Musical Graduates
A confident and enthusiastic personality
