About the Role:
As an SEN DT Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Design and Technology to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to inspire and challenge students.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
* Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning and contribute to the school's DT curriculum development.
* Participate actively in school events, extra-curricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience as a DT Teacher in a UK secondary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of the UK DT curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Effective classroom management skills with a focus on fostering a positive learning environment
* Either live in Hillingdon or within a commutable distance
