Join our team at the School of Technical Apprenticeships at FE College, where we prepare and support apprentices in achieving their career goals in line with the latest industry standards. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Electrical and Electronic Engineering Lecturer to enhance our successful team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach across various courses in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, including Level 2 Foundation Competence, Level 3 Development Knowledge (BTEC/Technical Certificate), and Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualifications.
  • Deliver lectures and practical sessions that incorporate the use of electrical/electronic engineering workshop equipment, such as wiring and testing equipment.
  • Engage and motivate young learners aged 16-19 through effective teaching practices.
  • Travel off-site to employers’ premises in the local area as required to support apprentices in their workplace learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related area.
  • Experience in teaching, training, or assessing in the field of electrical/electronic engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience in Electrical Principles CAD- Fluid Sim/MultisSIM.
  • Practical experience in an electrical/electronic engineering workshop.
  • Ability to deliver a range of technical subjects including PLC, Designing and Testing electronics circuits, and Control and Computer Engineering such as embedded systems, Automation and control systems.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
