• Location: Southeast London
• Job Type: Full-time, 6-month fixed term contract.

We are seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to join our team in the Offender Learning Sector. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on the lives of others, helping them improve their literacy skills and contribute positively to their communities.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Develop and deliver high-quality, learner-focused education in English to meet contractual requirements and standards.
• Ensure teaching strategies and resources meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners to maximise their progress and attainment.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of learner progress and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment and educational experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Full teaching qualification (Minimum of CTLLS) or PGCE.
• Experience in teaching whether in primary education or adult learning.
• A genuine interest in the rehabilitation and resettlement of offenders.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
