We are seeking a passionate and experienced Functional Skills Maths Lecturer to join our team at a creative academy in Waltham Forest. This is a part-time position, requiring availability for three days per week, with a competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and high-quality Functional Skills Maths lessons.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements.
- Support students in developing essential numeracy skills for everyday life and employment.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment within a creative setting.Requirements:
- Proven experience in teaching Functional Skills Maths, ideally within a college or similar educational setting.
- A recognised teaching qualification is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to make maths accessible and engaging.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
