Functional Skills Tutor needed in West London Paying £21.23 per hr Ref 005272

Part time hrs on a temporary basis

 Deliver high-quality functional skills tutoring in English and Maths to adult learners, with a focus on engaging and supporting learners to achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • English Tutor: Conduct lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30pm to 3pm and 6:30pm to 9pm.

  • Maths Tutor: Conduct lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm to 9pm, starting from February 25th.

  • Plan and prepare engaging and effective lesson plans.

  • Assess and monitor learners' progress, providing feedback and support.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and achievement.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience in delivering functional skills.

  • Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to engage and motivate adult learners.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
