Lecturer - Motor Vehicle (FE College, East London) Are you passionate about training the next generation of motor vehicle professionals? A leading Further Education (FE) college in East London is looking for a Lecturer - Motor Vehicle to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Salary & Benefits: Salary: £24,872 - £43,440 per annum (including London Weighting), depending on qualifications and experience Market-Rate Supplement: Up to £10,000 (paid monthly over two years), depending on skills and experience Contract: Permanent, 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Training Support: Opportunity to gain a teaching qualification through the college's Passport to Teaching programme About the Role: As a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle, you will be responsible for: Planning and delivering engaging lessons, including developing schemes of work Assessing and providing constructive feedback to learners Tracking student attendance, progress, and achievements Ensuring a safe working environment and enforcing health & safety standards Supporting students personal and professional development Keeping up to date with industry trends to enhance student employability Engaging in ongoing professional development within the education sector Who We Are Looking For: Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: Hold a teaching qualification with experience in Further or Higher Education OR Possess a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and be willing to gain a Further Education teaching qualification (fully supported) OR Have significant Motor Industry experience, be qualified to Level 3, and be willing to undertake a teaching qualification with the college's support Strong administrative skills and the ability to track student progress accurately are essential.
