We are inviting applications for a dedicated Plumbing Lecturer to join our Engineering department. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about teaching and has a strong background in the plumbing industry. You will be teaching across a variety of programmes, including NVQ Level 2 and Diploma in Plumbing Levels 2 and 3.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Plumbing and Building Services Engineering across various levels, including NVQ Level 2, Diploma Levels 2 and 3.
- Prepare lesson plans and materials based on the curriculum and industry standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain records of students' attendance, assessments, and progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum and teaching resources.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- Qualified to Level 3 in Plumbing.
- Experience working in the plumbing industry.
- Previous teaching or training experience within the subject area is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners aged 16-18.
- Commitment to professional development; candidates without a Level 5 teaching qualification will be supported to achieve this.
