A London-based university is seeking to recruit an HR Team Leader. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused administrative support across the university’s Schools and Professional Services Directorates. They will also serve as a specialist in managing the interface between HR and Payroll functions.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of administrators in the delivery of a high-quality HR administration service i.e processing pay changes and overseeing the preparation of contractual documentation
  • Coordinate all aspects of the day-to-day implementation of the full range of HR administrative support processes
  • Be the primary point of escalation for the team on complex queries
  • Provide regular reports on SAP and analyse output to support workload management
  • Ensure all Employee records are administered in line with UKVI requirements

Candidate profile:

  • Holds a CIPD or CIPP qualification
  • Knowledge and experience using SAP HR or Oracle (essential)
  • In-depth understanding of payroll from an HR perspective
  • Demonstrable experience of a full range of HR / Payroll processes covering the complete employee life-cycle
  • Experience of team supervision, leadership and management
