Key Responsibilities:- Manage a designated section of the restaurant during service, ensuring an attentive and seamless dining experience for guests.
- Take food and drink orders, delivering exceptional service with a smile.
- Maintain tables, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu, including allergens, to provide informed recommendations to diners.
- Collaborate with runners, bar staff, and the kitchen to ensure smooth service.
- Follow standard operating procedures and actively participate in daily briefings.
- Assist in setting up the restaurant before service and support all departments as needed.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a busy, fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food and wine, with a passion for learning more.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to foresee and address potential challenges.
- A friendly, positive attitude and flexibility to support different teams when needed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
