The business is ISO 9001 certified which demonstrates its commitment to continual improvement and quality of service.This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to learn a huge amount about E-commerce, stock control and stock management in a thriving business.What The Role Will InvolveAs a Warehouse Operative you will have a number of key duties including picking, packing, replenishment, and stock counting. You will be expected to work accurately and efficiently, taking pride in your work, with a willingness to assist other members of the team.Your duties will include: 
  • Daily picking and packing of customer orders 
  • Working to targets to pack products quickly and efficiently
  • Dispatching larger items by courier using online courier booking systems
  • Daily re-stocking/replenishment of stock in the warehouse
  • Replenishing stock in the correct warehouse locations
  • Updating stock locations on the internal database
  • Stock counting
  • Monitoring low stock levels and relaying information to the purchasing department
  • Ensuring stock is stored safely and correctly
  • Checking for damaged or faulty products
  • Identifying and reporting incorrect and faulty products
  • Ensuring the warehouse is tidy, organised, and safe at all times
  • Further ad hoc responsibilities.
The ideal Warehouse Operative will hold the following skills and experiences: 
  • Self-motivated to work quickly and efficiently
  • Great eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work at speed
  • Pride in keeping areas tidy and organised
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English
The working hours of this role are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm (37.5 paid working hours per week).
