Water Hygiene and Treatment Engineer
The Company
DSW is a family-owned and run water treatment and engineering company, based in Lingfield, Surrey. The company has over 25 full-time staff and continues to grow. In a fast-changing industry, DSW are proud to remain 100% independent. Due to the sustained growth and expansion of the business, DSW are now looking to welcome a water hygiene and treatment technician to learn new skills, support these divisions and develop with the company.
Water Hygiene Treatment Engineer Requirements:
Must have qualifications, competency or experience in:
- Temperature monitoring to Acop L8 and HSG 274 including outlets, tanks and calorifiers (High)
- Water sampling – bacteriological sampling including Legionella.
- Water hygiene PPM tasks - ACOP L8 and HSG 274
- CWST cleaning and disinfection
- TMV servicing and disinfection
- Chlorination/disinfection (pull throughs) using tanks
- Flushing of closed loop systems
- Calorifier, drain, inspect, clean, and disinfection
- Closed system on site analysis
- Basic monitoring checks of chemical treatment plants for domestic systems, cooling towers and or swimming pool.
Not essential but advantageous:
- Equipment servicing including dosing plant, softeners, CL02 systems etc.
- Closed system balance flushing, monitoring and dosing
- Cooling tower ppm visits
- Healthcare sampling
- Basic plumbing skills to complete small pipework remedials / legionella plumbing
Experience
- 3 Years min experience water industry
- Mainly London and Home Counties but you may be required to travel and stay away.
- Driving Licence essential.Â
