The role were hiring for is a Water Treatment Service Chemistwho would join our team based inthe North London area.Youll be responsible for the analysis and maintenance of various water systems, including Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers, Closed Systems, Water Softeners, and Reverse Osmosis systems. Previous experience within the water treatment industry is highly advantageous.
What you receive for joining us:
Were looking to offer a salary of £35,000 - £40,000. In addition, we offer a Company Pension and Healthcare, accrued hours scheme, and a financial loyalty bonus.
Heres a look at some of the things youll be doing:
- Conduct routine water analysis and servicing of Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers, Closed Systems, Water Softeners, Reverse Osmosis, and Dosing systems to ensure water quality meets industry standards
- Perform chemical treatments to maintain proper water chemistry, preventing corrosion, scale, and microbial growth
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with water treatment systems, including identifying contamination sources and inefficiencies
- Provide on-site technical support, conduct client training, and maintain accurate records of water treatment activities and data
Can you show experience in some of these areas:
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred, with proven experience in water treatment, especially in Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers, Closed Systems, Water Softeners, and Reverse Osmosis systems
- Strong understanding of water treatment chemistry principles, best practices, and industry regulations and standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to address water treatment challenges effectively
