We are currently looking for a creative and driven Freelance Producer to join the Digital Video team at a major global news provider. (Previous experience of working on news content will be essential for this role)
You'll pitch, write, produce, and edit engaging video content for digital platforms, covering everything from breaking news to global issues like climate, health, and politics.
What You'll Do:
- Pitch and produce original video stories
- Write scripts, conduct interviews, and edit video
- Track breaking news and social trends
- Collaborate across global teams
- Occasionally lead daily video coverage as assignment editor
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years in digital video journalism
- Strong news judgment and storytelling skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and social-first formats
- Excellent writing and communication
- Flexibility to work varied hours and shifts
- Foreign language skills a plus
