Handle Recruitment is seeking an immediately available Junior Web Editor to join a world renowned bank.

*This will be a six month FTC initially paying up to £46,500k pro-rata, with hybrid working in Canary Wharf.*

As the Junior Web Editor your responsibilities will include:

  • Content management: Editing and managing web pages using Adobe Experience Manager.
  • BAU and web production: committing to 40 hours per week focused on Business as Usual (BAU) tasks e.g. web production requests, clean-up of documentation.
  • SharePoint management: creating and managing pages in SharePoint for a knowledge base.
  • Ticket monitoring: monitoring and responding to SharePoint tickets,evaluating stakeholder requests, making suggestions to improve requests or pushing back where necessary.
  • Media file handling: Setting up and uploading media podcasts.
  • Image editing: Performing basic image editing tasks, such as re-sizing.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Familiarity with Adobe AEM, Adobe Analytics, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office, JIRA Tickets, and Confluence.
  • Experience with authoring in the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS environment.
  • Understanding and appreciation for web page layout and user experience (UX)
  • Understanding of website accessibility standards and regulations around cookie management (PECR, GDPR, etc.)
  • Organisational and project management skills.
  • An understanding of SEO standards, including on-page SEO and technical SEO.
