Digital Content Officer

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Digital Content Officer based in Southwark. This is a contract role working full time hours.

The job:

  • Responsible for managing, coordinating the digital content offer on our public facing website and internal intranet.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Digital, Customer Experience and Technology Transformation to ensure the website is fit for purpose, presenting recommendations for improvement and digital first, to meet the objectives of the Digital and Technology, and Customer Access Strategies.
  • Responsible for project managing the implementation of a new website, content, and analytics software to ensure the organisation makes the best use for its residents, businesses and visitors.
  • To lead on the use of Google Analytics, reporting and BI to ensure our website is fully up to date, ensuring our users get to their destination with as few clicks as possible
  • To be the lead for the external website, including planning, using, developing and integrating channels to increase engagement with residents and build our audiences.
  • To write new content, campaigns and lead on the development of new 'writing for the web' course for staff, ensure our style is consistent across all business areas.

The candidate:

  • Experience of digital content and website management in a public sector setting
  • Experience of working with content management systems, social media channels, and other content systems
  • Experience of dealing with external stakeholders, including suppliers and third-party contractors
