Maintenance Technician, Temporary, £16.50ph (equivalent to £34K per annum)
Temporary - Weekly pay – No CSCS needed – tools provided
Ritz Recruitment are currently seeking Temporary Maintenance Technicians/Operatives for our busy Student Accommodation in London, N1.
The successful candidate will work with the maintenance team to provide general maintenance/handyman work required across the site. This is an excellent opportunity to join a hardworking and committed team and contribute to the smooth running of a prestigious accommodation facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake general maintenance tasks in both internal and external areas of the building.
- Carry out plumbing tasks, such as unblocking toilets, replacing washers, and fixing taps.
- Fix leaks and report any immediate problems found.
- Assist with re-decorating rooms and general carpentry tasks, such as fixing doors and locks.
- Unblock sinks and descale shower heads.
- Move furniture and perform masticking as needed.
- Paint and decorate where required.
Skills & Attributes:
- Proven experience in maintenance or handyman work, ideally within a residential/domestic setting.
- Experience in a trade i.e. plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
- Strong customer service skills and a team player mindset.
- Ability to adhere to all Health and Safety measures.
- Friendly, approachable, and helpful attitude.
