The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder to join our team, covering various sites across London and the Home Counties. This is an exciting role for a skilled professional with experience in pipework and welding, seeking to work on diverse and challenging projects in commercial and industrial environments.
Responsibilities:
- Installing, fabricating, and welding pipework systems for commercial and industrial projects.
- Working with a variety of materials, including steel, copper, and stainless steel.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans to ensure precise installation and alignment.
- Performing welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to high standards.
- Conducting pressure testing and ensuring the integrity of installed pipework.
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs on existing systems when required.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company procedures on site.
- Liaising with site managers and project teams to ensure smooth project completion.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter/Welder, ideally in commercial or industrial settings.
- Strong skills in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
- Familiarity with various pipework materials and installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Relevant qualifications in pipe fitting or welding (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction environments.
- Full UK driving licence.
