Plumber

London - EC1A - managing a high end office portfolio

40,000-45,000 + 1.5x/2x overtime rates

Monday - Friday, 08:00-17:00!

We have a great opportunity to work on a high-end multi-officecontract for one of our largest clients- our client is looking for a foot mobile plumbingmaintenance engineer to join an expanding team of engineers. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial background, be client facing and ideally qualified to NVQ/City & Guilds level 2 or 3 in Plumbing/Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent. They will be expected to integrate into a team of engineers and have a flexible attitude towards work, as well as supporting the wider business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
  • Provide support on the projects/small works team & be able to quote and deliver works
  • Provide a multi-skilled maintenance engineer service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers
  • Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard
  • Liaise with client/management

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum NVQ/City and Guilds level 2/3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance
  • Mechanical / plumbing background ideal
  • 3 years experience as a minimum desirable
  • Previous maintenance experience in a commercial environment
  • Be flexible towards work & carry out duties that may not be specific to your trade
