Workman's Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded and long-established Social Housing Contractor renowned for its exceptional service in offering building maintenance and construction services to housing associations, councils, and the education sector for over the last 80 years in London and surrounding home counties.

You will need an experienced background in Windows and Doors, UPVC & Timber Care Repairs. You will be managing a team of internal and external contractors across multiple sites covering North London N17 and N22 postcodes.

Responsibilities:

  • You will supervise day-to-day activities at the site level, ensuring work is conducted safely and in compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Managing a team of skilled trade staff and subcontractors across multiple sites.
  • Establishing solid relationships with clients, the public, and subcontractors will be essential to the project's success.
  • Conduct pre-work inspections, set up work areas, and perform post-inspections of completed projects.
  • Monitoring team productivity, reporting progress to the Contracts Manager, and ensuring on-site welfare checks will also be critical responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Drivers License
  • Previous experience in social housing/residential construction
  • Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
