Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor to oversee reactive and planned maintenance within the social housing sector. This role involves leading a team of operatives and subcontractors to ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard-while delivering outstanding customer service to residents.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage responsive and voids maintenance in both tenanted and vacant properties.
  • Lead a team of operatives, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
  • Conduct property inspections, ensuring repairs are completed effectively and in line with health & safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with housing officers, contractors, and tenants to resolve repair issues promptly.
  • Monitor and maintain KPIs and SLAs, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and allocate workloads, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure strict compliance with housing regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and provide updates to senior management.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor within social housing.
  • Strong understanding of housing maintenance, voids, and repairs.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders.
