Bid Writer | Aerospace | 50k per annum + bonus

Having grown 70% in the last 2 years this leading Aerospace company is looking to continue it's growth with a new hire into the bid team. As a Bid Writer, you will play a vital role in helping the company secure new business opportunities by creating high-quality, persuasive proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and write compelling, customer-focused proposals to secure new business contracts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, sales, legal, and finance, to gather input for bids.
• Tailor bid responses to meet client needs while highlighting key value propositions.
• Manage the bid process, from planning and coordination to submission and post-bid analysis.

About You:

• Strong experience in technical documentation and proposal writing.
• Familiarity with bid processes, including compliance and quality checks.
• Ability to deliver high-quality documentation under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on clarity and persuasion.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple bids simultaneously.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of uncrewed aircraft systems or the aerospace sector.
• Experience with creating concepts of operations (CONOPS).
• Familiarity with public and private sector tendering procedures.

Personal Attributes:

• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally when required.
