The Bid Writer is responsible for:

  • Manage the production of written input and advise on content.
  • Work with wider bid team and supporting technical team in development of responses that are attractive, articulate and bring out the benefits of our offer.
  • Analyse client requirements in terms of submission compliance, criteria, and scoring
  • Check the quality, relevancy, and consistency of responses in terms of client focus, themes, messages, key phrases and key words.
  • Establish lines of communication with subject matter experts to ensure access to accurate and up to date company information.
  • Arrange Red Review dates/deadlines with accountable Reviewer for critical assessment of proposals.
  • Maintain database/library of stock answers.

Ideally, you will bealready working as a Bid Writer with an excellent understanding of the full bidding process and creativity in the development of submissions.

To be successful in the roleyou will be a creative, compelling, and persuasive writer with the ability to articulate value propositions and win themes. Alongside this, you will be an effective team player, with a natural ability to control information flow between numerous parties. You also need to have excellent organisation skills, able to manage and prioritise your own time. APMP is desirable but not essential.
