A healthcare practice of one of the heritage, big name advertising agencies in London is looking for a Principal Medical Writer. The agency has an exciting mix of clients across pharma and healthcare and the writer would have the opportunity to work on global creative work, regularly in awards conversations and lists.
This would be the perfect opportunity for an experienced and ambitious medical writer, looking for a more creative role. They are also a friendly and sociable bunch, with sports clubs, book clubs and everything in between.
The Principal Medical Writer’s Role:
- Lead a team of medical writers in producing high quality and scientifically accurate copy across a range of channels and audiences
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including strategy, client services, design, digital etc.
- The writing team is very client-facing and must develop excellent relationships with clients
- You will support the senior leadership team to ensure the smooth running of the copy team and play a proactive role in shaping and progressing it
You:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a medical writer in a healthcare agency
- Experience line managing (desirable)
- Experience with Veeva/ other client referencing software systems
- Exposure to promotional work (not purely MedEd)
