Job Purpose
  • Preparation and finalisation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies.
  • Preparation of tax computations for the same portfolio.
  • Review of VAT returns prepared by the client.
  • Leading audits for Limited companies.
  • Supervising junior staff, including review working and knowledge sharing.
  • Build trusted client relationships as their main point of contact, proactively handling queries.
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities.
  • Work directly with the Manager to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.

The Successful Applicant
  • ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience in practice.
  • Or AAT qualified and studying towards ACA/ACCA or with a desire to begin study.
  • Study support can be provided where needed for the right candidate.
  • Experience leading audits from planning to completion.
  • Adept at the preparation of statutory accounts.
  • A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously.
  • Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and reliable.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written.
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen.
  • A can-do attitude and a proactive problem solver.
