Finance Officer – Derry / Londonderry

SALARY: £25,450 - £29,000 per annum

EMPLOYMENT: Permanent, full-time, office-based opportunity

Reed Accountancy is delighted to be partnered with a very successful family-run business in Derry/Londonderry in the appointment of a Finance Officer to join a dynamic team on a permanent and full-time basis.

This would be a stand-alone role, and the successful Finance Officer will provide support to the team in all aspects of payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly management reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing of weekly payroll
  • Processing of sales and purchase invoices ensuring accuracy integrity of data and information.
  • To support the management team in the efficient and timely processing of financial information.
  • General admin and office duties as required by management
  • Development of new systems of working to aid sustainable business growth
  • Production of monthly management reports in relation to finance/expenses

What you need to succeed:

  • Payroll processing
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy essential due to the importance and nature of the work.
