Permanent | Full-Time | £36,000 - £42,000 per annum | Office-based
REED Finance is delighted to be working in partnership with a thriving commercial organisation in the Northwest area, in their appointment of a Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant.
The successful Newly Qualified Accountant will be responsible for the effective operation of the finance and accounting functions across the group. This is a genuinely excellent career opportunity for a driven, hard-working individual to work alongside a commercial Financial Director. The Newly Qualified Accountant will be an integral part of the Finance and Accounting function across the group, and this is a great opportunity for growth, development, and mentorship.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and budget returns.
- Delivery of management reports.
- Preparation of annual budgets and cash flows.
- Filing of statutory reports, including annual accounts.
- Overseeing the accurate processing of transactions using control accounts.
- Undertaking insurance activities as directed.
- Fulfilling treasury management activities as required.
- Contributing to special projects as directed.
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant
- IT proficient, with strong financial modelling skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexibly and on own initiative.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Good commercial skills.
