Senior Credit Controller/Sales Ledger Officer – Derry/ Londonderry

Reed Finance are delighted to have been exclusively appointed to recruit for a Senior Credit Controller/Sales Ledger Officer to join a fast-growing and commercial business based in Derry/Londonderry.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will work closely with the accounts team and assist in smooth-running of the credit control and sales ledger function of the company.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Invoicing and preparing applications for payment
- Bank Reconciliations
- Credit Control – liaising by phone and email with clients ensuring they make payment within agreed terms, maintaining and managing client relationships.
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Manage resolution of billing disputes, complaints and discrepancies, responding to escalated complaints within specified timeframes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 + years’ experience within a similar role at a Senior level
- Experience managing high volume invoices in an organised and efficient manner
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working within construction sector (desirable)
