Senior Credit Controller/Sales Ledger Officer – Derry/ Londonderry

£35,000 - £50,000 per annum | Pension | Private healthcare | REED Exclusive

Reed Finance are delighted to have been exclusively appointed to recruit for a Senior Credit Controller/Sales Ledger Officer to join a fast-growing and commercial business based in Derry/Londonderry.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will work closely with the accounts team and assist in smooth-running of the credit control and sales ledger function of the company.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Invoicing and preparing applications for payment
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Credit Control – liaising by phone and email with clients ensuring they make payment within agreed terms, maintaining and managing client relationships.
  • Assisting with VAT returns
  • Manage resolution of billing disputes, complaints and discrepancies, responding to escalated complaints within specified timeframes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 + years’ experience within a similar role at a Senior level
  • Experience managing high volume invoices in an organised and efficient manner
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working within construction sector (desirable)
