We are recruiting for a Sous Chef - Working Monday to Friday 7-3pm - £18ph
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the preparation and service of nutritious meals.
Support all aspects of kitchen operations, including food purchasing, storage, and hygiene standards.
Develop innovative menus and recipes, catering to various dietary requirements.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including allergen management.
Support the catering team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Maintain kitchen organization and efficiency, minimizing waste and managing budgets effectively.
Qualification
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, preferably in an educational or high-volume setting.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on nutrition and quality.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and allergen management.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage a diverse team.
