Brook Street (UK) Ltd is actively seeking multiple Band 2 and Band 3 Clerical Officers for our Public Sector client in Derry. This is a fantastic chance to join a supportive team and contribute to essential administrative functions within the public sector for a 6 month period.

Key Responsibilities
As a Clerical Officer, you will provide vital administrative support, including:

  • Delivering comprehensive administrative support to the team and other professionals.
  • Organising the office and maintaining an efficient filing system, including mail distribution, photocopying, and ensuring relevant charts are available for clinics.
  • Opening and recording incoming mail, directing correspondence appropriately.
  • Facilitating communication within the department by liaising with relevant staff and handling telephone enquiries.
  • Demonstrating high-level word processing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software as required.
  • Assisting in the production of departmental policies and reports.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Five GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language or an equivalent qualification, or one years of administrative/clerical experience.
